Travel to Ludhiana

Surface and Train

Ludhiana can be reached only by train or road. Arriving from Delhi, it takes approximately 5 hours to cover the 320 km expanse by road. Trains are recommended for longer travel, with regularly scheduled locomotives connecting from all over the country to Ludhiana via Delhi.

Fares are quite reasonable, beginning from Rs 100 and ranging up to Rs 1150 per person, depending on luxury, state or private owned conductors. The most suggested way to travel is via the Shatabdhi Express – departing Delhi in both the morning and evening, it takes roughly 4 hours to arrive. A meal along with tea is served on this route. Another option is traveling via the Deluxe night bus from the ISBT in Delhi.
